Mary Irene Gloz, 81, of Butler, formerly of Herman, died Wednesday at Fosnight Personal Care Home, Gibsonia, after a long illness.

Born July 24, 1926, in Herman, she was a daughter of Joseph and Amelia Adelman.

She is survived by a son, Robert Gloz (Virginia) of Penn Hills; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Conn (Frank) of North Carolina and Mrs. Jean Fusco (Robert) of Sewickley; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of Frank L. Gloz, who died May 2, 1999. She also was preceded in death by two sons, John and Stan; three brothers; and two sisters.

<B>Gloz</B> — Friends of Mary Irene Gloz, who died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, North Main Street Extension. The Rev. James Salberg will officiate.
