Helen P. Kohler
Helen P. Kohler, 80, of Pine Township died Monday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.
Born in Pittsburgh, Aug. 12, 1927, she was a daughter of Charles and Pauline Reimold Schweitzer.
She retired as a supervisor at Mine Safety Appliance in Callery.
Mrs. Kohler was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church and the AARP.
She also enjoyed going to casinos, bingo and playing cards.
Surviving are three daughters, Deborah Green (Donald) of Safety Harbor, Fla., Pamela Kennedy (Thomas) of Pine Township and Cynthia Neely (John Wisniewski) of Rochester Township; a sister, Paula Kauffman (Ed) of Allison Park; two brothers, Carl Schweitzer of Mount Troy and Erwin "Boobie" Schweitzer (Lee) of Millvale; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Harold J. "Skip" Kohler, who she married Sept. 2, 1948, died May 8, 2004. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Olga Scholl, and a brother, Norman Schweitzer.
<B>KOHLER</B> — Friends of Helen P. Kohler, who died Monday, March 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Mars United Presbyterian Church, Crowe Avenue, Mars, with the Rev. Terry Stoops, interim pastor, officiating. Everyone is to meet at the church. Burial will be at Mt.
