Glenn Robert Stephenson, 76, of Butler died Sunday at his home

Born Aug. 11, 1931, in Mt. Chestnut, he was the son of Ralph R. and Lois Weitzel Stephenson.

He was a member of the Homeacre Chapel. He was a veteran of the Army.

He retired from the Butler School District. He belonged to Tri-State Country Music Association and was a member of the Country Clowns Band. He loved to play and sing country music and enjoyed spending time at his camp in Smith Grove Campground in Butler.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Greg (Robin) Radwanski of Lyndora; two sons, Randy B. Stephenson and Terry Stephenson both of Butler; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Tom (Kelly Jo) Fennell of Butler; two stepsons, John W. Stevenson of Butler and Ryan Stevenson of Carlisle; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Russell (Thelma) Kline of Prospect.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary (Sandra) Herron Stephenson; his second wife, Margaret Gamble Stephenson; two sons, a stepdaughter, and four brothers.

David Fisher officiating at the Homeacre Chapel, 340 Whitestown Road, Butler.
