The Northern Steel Select under-12 girls soccer team won the Christmas Indoor Classic recently in Erie.

Northern Steel defeated Pittsford (N.Y.)10-0, the Erie Admirals 5-0, Cleveland Internationals 3-2 in the semifinals and the Cleveland Blues 3-2 in the finals.

Team members include Aileen Brown and Paige Clary of Mars, Olivia Sharbaugh and Abbey Gore of Knoch, Lauren Schillero of Evans City, goalkeeper Charlene Doerr of Portersville, Logan Devlin of Freeport, Kailie Davis and Aubri McCoy of Grove City, Alexis Stahl and Marissa DiCola of Beaver, Kyler Lum, Allyson Kendall, Brittany Kendall, Brooke Dicks and Kelly Summers of New Castle.
