Chelsea Giebel and Hanna Leisie scored goals as the Butler Junior High girls soccer team tied Pine-Richland, 2-2, recently.

Goalie Taylor Troyan stopped 22 of 24 shots for the Golden Tornado. Megan McCleary, Paige Rittleman, Alexa Grey, Maddie Todd and Mariah Mikula defended well.

In other action:

• Zach Thompson scored two goals as the SVLightening Express defeated Wilmington.

Chris Grayburn scored the other goal. Nick Cubison, Ryan Cwik and Devan Pindroh stood out defensively.
