Victoria E. Braun, 54, of Butler died Friday at her parent's home in Butler.

Born Jan. 15, 1953, in Butler, she was the daughter of Thelma M. Dressel and Clyde A. Braun Sr.

She was a 1971 graduate of Butler High School and worked as a bookkeeper in the Butler area until her retirement more than nine years ago due to her declining health.

She had also worked for the United Way in Butler, and the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers and the Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe), where she also volunteered.

She had received a kidney and pancreas transplant in 2001, which gave her more time to be with her family and friends.

Mrs. Braun was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She enjoyed baby-sitting her nieces and nephews and going to the beach.

Surviving are her parents; her companion of more than 30 years, Jim Spring of Youngwood, Pa.; three brothers, Clyde A. Braun Jr. and his wife, Cynthia, of Markleysburg, Pa., Jeffrey A. Braun and his wife, Lori, of Butler, and Eric A. Braun and his wife, Nancy, of Butler; three sisters, Philomena G. Wasko and her husband, Terry, of Lynchburg, Va., Jennifer A. Monaco of Butler and Alyssa C. Trivilino and her husband, Dennis, of Ellwood City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

<B>BRAUN</B> — Friends of Victoria E. Braun, who died Friday, July 27, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home,</B> 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.The Women's Council of St. Peter Parish will meet at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday at the Church to recite the Rosary.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
