Ruth E. Dillaman

Ruth Esther Parfinsky, Dillaman, 75, formerly of Slippery Rock Township, died at 5:50 p.m. Monday at Orchard Manor, Grove City, where she made her home since October. She had been ill for six years.

Born in Mercer, Jan. 21, 1932, she was the daughter of Roman and Mary Rutkoski Parfinsky.

She was a 1949 alumna of Grove City High School and had been a drugstore assistant and clerk at the former Thrush Pharmacy and Harves Rexall Drugs, both in Grove City.

Mrs. Dillaman was a Protestant.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Edward "Bud" Dillaman of Orchard Manor, whom she married May 26, 1962; three children, Dwight Dillaman of Laredo, Texas, David Frisk and his wife, Dorothy, of Slippery Rock and Kathy Parker Kistenmacher and her husband, Kent, of Cary, N.C.; a niece, Roberta Pearson of Chesapeake, Va., and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Stella Braine and Irene and Eleanor Parfinsky; a brother, Andrew Parfinsky, and a daughter, Marsha Parker.

<B>DILLAMAN </B>— A memorial service for Ruth Esther Parfinsky, Dillaman, who died Monday, July 23, 2007, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Orchard Manor, Grove City. The Rev. John "Jack" Patterson, chaplain at Orchard Manor, will officiate. Burial will be at the Slippery Rock Cemetery.Donations may be made to Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, 740 E. State St., Sharon,PA 16146.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, Grove City.
