Ruth Joan Clark
Ruth Joan "Me-Ma" Clark, 77, of Butler died Monday morning at her home.
Born April 22, 1930, in Butler, she was a daughter of Howard and Othelia Lippold Sankey.
She had been a waitress at the Butler Elks Club for 10 years.
Mrs. Clark was a member of Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church. She also belonged to the AARP, was an avid bingo player and enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Dick Clark and his wife, Linda, of East Stroudsburg, Howard Clark and his wife, Deborah, and Kenneth Clark and Stephanie Neely, all of Butler; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Cheryl "Sheri") Fijolek of Seminole, Fla., and Mrs. James (Marcella) Schiebel and Mrs. Don (Pamela) McLaughlin, both of Butler; and a brother, retired Army Lt. Col. T.R. Sankey and his wife, Alene, of Butler. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Higgins, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chicora, officiating.
