William D. Henry

William D. Henry, 71, of Fombell died Saturday.

Born Nov. 5, 1935, in Ellwood City, he was the son of William R. and Clara Mae Brady Henry.

He retired from Mine Safety in Callery, and he was a member of the Northwestern Pennsylvania Steam Engine Association.

Mr. Henry enjoyed Ford trucks, old cars, western movies, antiques and eating out with friends.

Surviving are his two daughters, LaRae Portman and her husband, Jeff, of Florida and Teresa C. Schmitt and her husband, Matthew, of Connecticut; a son, Joseph A. Blizman and his wife, Debbie, of Virginia; a sister, M.J. Henry-Lucas and her husband, David, of New Castle; a brother, Robert Henry and his wife, Norma Jean, of Ellwood City; two grandchildren, Sarah and Anthony Blizman; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and good friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie G. Beining Henry, who died Nov. 15, 1996.

<B>Henry — </B>Friends of William D. Henry, who died Saturday, July 21, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>boylan funeral home, </B>324 E. Grandview Ave. in Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
