John A. Richards
John A. Richards, 76, died Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born March 20, 1931, in Birmingham, Ala., he was the son of John Harold and Eliza Russell Richards.
He worked at U.S. Steel, Mesta Machine, Schenley Distillery, and Copperweld as an industrial electrician.
He was an Army veteran and served in the National Guard.
He was a faithful servant of the Lord.He loved his family, outdoor hard work, music and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Ann Gasper Richards; his second wife, Mary Jane Bogan Richard, and a brother, Joseph Richards.
He is survived by a sister, Jacqueline Barber of Mars; three daughters, Debbie (Gary) Gioia of Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, Cindy Wiltsie of Murrysville, Westmoreland County, and Betsy (Tom) Sandala of Penn Township, Westmoreland County; a son, John Richards of Mesa Ariz.; and nine grandchildren, Amiee, Amber and Brendan Gioia, April Bingel, Katie, Casey and John Sandala, and Elizabeth and Ann Marie. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren, Rylie, Cameron and McKenna Territo, and Haley and Katelyn Bingel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
<B>RICHARDS</B>— Visitation for John A. Richards, who died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Hart Funeral Home</B>, 3103 Lillian Ave., Murrysville.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Seth of First United Methodist Church in Murrysville officiating.Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Park.Memorial contributions may be made to the Wild Resources Conservation Fund, or the Butler V.N.A.
