Helen M. Collins, 77, of Butler died Friday morning at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Center Township.

Born Dec. 9, 1929, in Bredinville in Butler Township, she was the daughter of Andrew and Sophia Zofi Yellenik.

She had been a member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora and more recently was a member of the St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Meridian. She was also a member of the Jednota Society.

Surviving are her two sons, Robert T. and William J. Collins III, both of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Cindy) Beblo of Butler, and a sister, Anna Turowski of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Collins Jr., who she married June 10, 1954, and who died Dec. 31, 1993; two brothers; two sisters, and two infant daughters.

<B>COLLINS — </B>Friends of Helen M. Collins, who died Friday, July 6, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Geibel funeral home, </B>201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Fidelis Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian, with the Rev. James Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Butler.The Bereavement Committee of the St. Fidelis Parish will conduct a vigil prayer service at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
