Virginia Lee "Ginny"Collins Hutchison, 80, formerly of Oakland Township, died June 15 in Fairfax, Va.

Born in Kansas City, Mo., Dec. 25, 1926, she was the daughter of Velma and Ernest Collins.

She retired in 1989 from the Butler School District, where she had taught English for more than 20 years.

Mrs. Hutchison was a former member of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, the Butler Country Club, the American Association for University Women and the Butler Literary Society.

She also was a volunteer at the Phipps Conservatory and an avid gardener, bridge player and entertainer.

Surviving are two sons, Glenn Jr. of Lantana, Texas, and Bruce of Centreville, Va.; a daughter, Gael of Corpus Christi, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Her husband, Glenn C. Hutchison, whom she married Sept. 27, 1946, preceded her in death.

<B>HUTCHISON</B> — A memorial service for Virginia Lee Collins Hutchison, who died Friday, June 15, 2007, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., Butler, PA 16001; or to the H.L.
