Donald N. Sims, 75, of Jackson Township died Monday at the Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony.

Born Aug. 20, 1931, in Brackenridge, he was the son of Thomas A. and Sesta Harvey Sims.

He retired in 1992 from Valspar in Rochester after 41 years. After retirement, he was a valued support staff person at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home.

Mr. Sims was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He attended the Unity Baptist Church of Harlansburg and enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are his wife, Eleanor Mann Sims, whom he married May 2, 1958; a daughter, Linda Sims of New Kensington; a son, Donald N. Sims II and his wife, Kathy, of Harmony; two brothers, Glenn A. Sims of Boyertown and David Sims of Clairsville, Ohio; a sister, Patricia Leslie of Valencia; and two grandchildren, Samantha and Zachary Sims.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

<B>SIMS </B>— Friends of Donald N. Sims, who died Monday, June 25, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation SERVICES</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Caskey officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Burry's Church Cemetery, New Sewickley Township, Beaver County.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O.
