Betty R. Jaillet, 79, formerly of the Butler Arbors, died at 12:40 a.m. Thursday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born in Chicora, April 2, 1928, she was the daughter of Henry and Myrtle Mays Dally.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and needlework.

Mrs. Jaillet was a member of the Christ Outreach Church.

Surviving are two sons, Howard L. Jaillet of Easly, S.C., and David M. Jaillet of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Edd (Helen) Orsborn of Renfrew; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a brother, Richard Dally of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. Martin (Marie) Henry of Butler and Esther Fair of Chicora; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Howard O. "Razor" Jaillet, whom she married Nov. 6, 1946; died Oct. 23, 2006. She also was preceded in death by two grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a brother.

<B>JAILLET </B>— Friends of Betty R. Jaillet, who died Thursday, June 21, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Hughie Orsborn, a retired Methodist pastor, officiating.
