Thomas Campbell, 73, of West Sunbury, formerly of Westwood Manor in Butler, died Thursday morning at his daughter's home.

Born June 1, 1934, in Butler, he was a son of Agnes Johnson Campbell.

He was a supervisor for the Marmon Keystone Corp. in Butler for 43 years, retiring in 1996.

He was dedicated to his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and his favorite hobby was fireworks.

A veteran of the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Army, where he was an expert marksman and sharpshooter.

Surviving are his two sons, Thomas Campbell Jr., and his wife, Tina, of Butler and Douglas Campbell, and his wife, Thelma, of Eau Claire; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Lorna M.) Renforth of Butler and Geraldine A. 'Gerry' Bailey of West Sunbury; 12 grandchildren, Daniel (Caroline) Campbell, Dennis (Lisa) Campbell, Nicholas Campbell, Lisa Campbell, Lacey Campbell, Rachel Campbell and Benjamin (Trish) Campbell, Jessica (Weng Hung) Kam, Heather (Jason Blair) Durkacs, Shannon (Chris) Barnes, Thomas Renforth Jr., and Christopher (Linda Pantone) Bailey; three great-grandchildren, Mitchell Durkacs, Tyrone Hinchberger and Kaylina Campbell; and a twin sister, Catherine 'Catty' Campbell of Pittsburgh.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene M. Dennis Campbell, whom he married July 27, 1952, and who died Jan. 13, 2004; and three brothers, John Stoops and Russell 'Pete' Campbell and Samuel Campbell.

<B>CAMPBELL</B> — Friends of Thomas Campbell, who died, June 14, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home,</B> 201 E. Cunningham St. in Butler. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Milton, pastor of the Slippery Rock Baptist Church, officiating.
