Catherine Gostey
Catherine F. Gostey, 89, of Lisbon, Ohio, died at 11:36 a.m. Tuesday at the Vista Center in Lisbon.
Born June 9, 1918, in Butler County, she was a daughter of Edward and Frances Glazier Wiegand and had lived in Lisbon since 1948.
She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in the operation of the Gostey Feed Mill for 45 years in Ohio.
Mrs. Gostey was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Leetonia, Ohio.
Her husband, John Paul Gostey, whom she married May 25, 1940, died Feb. 12, 2007.
She is survived by two sons, Richard (Gloria) Gostey of Leetonia and James Gostey of Washingtonville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Scott (Susan) Gostey of Salem, Ohio, Kim (Bill) Garlough of Leetonia and Damian (Alisa) Gostey of Lisbon; six great-grandchildren, David Garlough, Catherine Shirey, Billy Garlough and Christian, Hayden and Cheyanne Gostey; and a great-great-grandchild, Eric Shirey. A sister-in-law, Elizabeth Wiegand of Butler, also survives.
A sister, Agnes Wiegand, and two brothers, Anthony and Edward Wiegand, are deceased.
<B>GOSTEY </B>— Funeral services for Catherine F. Gostey, who died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, were held today at the <B>Woods-Rettig Funeral Home</B>, Leetonia, with the Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia.
