Householder

Wilbert H. "Web" Householder, 88, of Zelienople, formerly of New Brighton, died Tuesday at his home.

Born Oct. 30, 1918, in Marion Township, he was the son of Walter and Ida Gelbach Householder.

Mr. Householder had been employed at the Babcock & Wilcox Tube Co. in Beaver Falls and retired as chief clerk in the hot mill and steel yard after 43 years.

During World War II, he was a first lieutenant in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific, served on 29 combat missions and was awarded three Oak Leaf Clusters.

He was a member of the Harmony Lodge 429 F&AM, Lodge Council Chapter Consistory, Syria Temple of Pittsburgh and the Beaver County Caravan No. 18.

He also belonged to St. John's Burry's Church, New Sewickley Township.

Surviving are a son, David W. Householder and his wife, Jean, of North Sewickley Township, Beaver County; a daughter, Patricia A. Emerick and her husband, David, of Cranberry Township; two sisters, Florence Lutz of Rochester and Hilda Fischer of Beaver; and five grandchildren, Trevor, Trent and Tyler Emerick and Devin and Hillary Householder.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor "Jean" Householder, who died Oct. 8, 1999. A sister, Myrtle Pickens, and a brother, Floyd Householder, also preceded him in death.

<B>Householder </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Wilbert H. "Web" Householder, who died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Burry's Church, 1835 Route 68, New Sewickley Township, with the Rev. Michael Van Arsdale, officiating.
