Elsie E. Dometrovich
Elsie E. Dometrovich, 93, a resident of Grove Manor in Grove City since February, died at 10:09 p.m. Wednesday at Grove City Medical Center. She formerly lived in the Grove City and Slippery Rock area.
Born in Williamsburg, Oct. 20, 1913, she was the daughter of Steven and Mary Monarck Feck.
She had been a bookkeeper at Kimes Chevy in Grove City and at Wick Implement in Slippery Rock.
Mrs. Dometrovich was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Slippery Rock.
She was an avid seamstress, knitter and gardener and also liked to crochet.
Surviving are her husband, John J. Dometrovich, whom she married Feb. 8. 1936; two daughters Mrs. Thomas J. (Patricia D.) Mitchell of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Mrs. Thomas M. (Eileen E.) Waters of Henderson, Nev.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Ann Semsky of Uniontown, Alga Lepak of Auburn, N.Y, and Mrs. Andrew (Susan) Kurty of Hollidaysburg, also survive.
An infant son and two brothers preceded her in death.
<B>DOMETROVICH </B>— Friends of Elsie E. Dometrovich, who died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Slippery Rock, with the Rev. James Armstrong officiating.
