Michael Herman, 76, of the Sunnyview Home, formerly of Acre Avenue, died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 8, 1930, in Lyndora, he was the son of Frank Herman and Mary Fejko.

Mr. Herman had been a truck driver for the Vic-Nor Sod Farm.

He formerly attended the St. Andrew Orthodox Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Ann Marie Herman of Lyndora; a sister, Mary Embroski of Sunnyview; a brother, Andrew Herman of Butler; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; a stepson, Bruce Stewart of Florida; a stepdaughter, Nancy Jackson of Clearwater, Fla.; and his companion, Carol Suchonic.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Herman, who died in July 1991; two brothers, and a sister.
