Harry Woleshin
Harry Woleshin, 83, of Cleveland, Ohio, died April 29, 2007, at the Renai-ssance Health Center, Cleveland.
Born Feb. 4, 1924, he was the son of Wasyl Woleshin and Rose Hluhanich Woleshin Cybock.
He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps; and when he became eligible, he enlisted in the Army and served with Co. F Parachute Infantry and was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He received the Purple Heart and retired from the service after many years.
He also had retired from General Motors in Cleveland.
Surviving are a brother, Mike Woleshin and his wife, Agnes, of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Catherine) Donohoe of Oxnard, Calif., and Helen Woleshin of East Brady; and nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers George Woleshin and Pete (Cybock) Sebock.
<B>WOLESHIN </B>— A Mass of Christian burial for Harry Woleshin, who died Sunday, April 29, 2007, was held May 2 at the Corpus Christie Church with the Rev. Russ Lowe officiating. Burial, with military honors, was held at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
