Verna C. Weller, 77, of Koppel in Beaver County, formerly of Mars, died Wednesday evening at her home.

Born in Pittsburgh, Oct. 25, 1929, she was the daughter of DeLane and Edna Valeka Marth.

She was a homemaker and a former member of the Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Karen C.) Cousins of Selinsgrove and Mrs. Carl (Sandra) McMahon of Koppel; and seven grandchildren.

Her husband, Richard F. Weller, whom she married Feb. 26, 1949, died July 4, 1991. She also was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
