Kirkpatrick

John William "Jack" Kirkpatrick, 86, of Clark Avenue, Butler Township, died at 5:45 p.m. Friday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Aug. 5, 1920, in Butler, he was the son of Paul and Margaret Rumberger Kirkpatrick.

He was the owner-operator of Kirkpatrick Sporting Goods Luggage Store in Butler.

He was a member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church.

He was a veteran of the Army, serving in World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Gould Badger Kirkpatrick; a daughter, Carol Kirkpatrick of Butler; a son, Scott Kirkpatrick of Franklin; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Taylor (Jane) Hess of Kansas, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother.

<B>KIRKPATRICK</B> — Friends of John William "Jack" Kirkpatrick, who died Friday, April 20, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hill United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Clark Sawyer officiating.Burial will be in the North Side Cemetery.
