John W. Breese, 56, of 863 Liberty St. Extension, Grove City, died at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday at his home after a sudden illness.

Born in Grove City, April 9, 1951, he was the son of Edith Bennett Breese and the late John P. Breese.

He was a graduate of Grove City High School and retired from the Sprint Telephone Co. as a technician after 35 years.

Mr. Breese was a Presbyterian. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1895 and VFW Post 519, both of Grove City.

He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

Surviving are his wife, Connie S. Barron Breese, whom he married May 30, 1987; three children, Brady Jo Breese of Slippery Rock and Shawn Jacob "Jake" Breese and his wife, Kathy, and Kari Young and her husband, Kevin, all of Grove City; and grandchildren, Nathan Young, David Breese Lowers, Derek Breese, Stephanie Young, Kyle Breese Frederick, Julian Breese and Logan Breese.

Also surviving are his mother of Grove City, and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Albert "Ed" Anderson of Jackson Center and Sandra K. and Harry Lott of Grove City.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Joseph Breese, and a nephew, Daniel Lott.

<B>BREESE </B>— Friends of John W. Breese, who died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Russell Babock, pastor of the Scotch Hill Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
