Shramawick

Ann Lawrence Shramawick of 126 David Drive died Monday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born July 3, 1919, in Butler, she was a daughter of John and Anna Danko Lawrence.

She retired as a saleswoman at Lowel's Boutique on Main Street after more than 20 years. She also was a saleswoman at the former Paradise Shop for more than eight years.

Mrs. Shramawick a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.

She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

Surviving are a son, Joseph L. "Slap" Shramawick of Butler; a daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn S. and John Houston Walker of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Olivia Lauren Walker, Joseph Houston Walker and Jacob Lawrence Walker, all of Hendersonville. She also is survived by two brothers, John Lawrence of Butler and George Lawrence of Moon Township; a sister, Mrs. Gene (Margaret Cupps) of Butler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her beloved husband, Joseph F. "Spike" Shramawick, whom she married July 21, 1956, died Feb. 13, 2003. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Michael "Butch" Lawrence.

<B>SHRAMAWICK </B>— Friends of Ann Lawrence Shramawick, who died Monday, April 16, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 303 Penn Ave., Lyndora. The Rev. George Palick will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.The Bereavement Committee of St. Fidelis Parish will conduct a parish vigil service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
