Una Marie Young, in her 99th year, of Zelienople, died peacefully on March 13, 2007, at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople; beloved wife of 72 years of the late Andrew F. Young; mother of Andrew Jr. and wife Laura A. Marien-Young of Baden.

She also is survived by six grandchildren, Steven Young of Brunswick, Ga.; Joseph Young (Jeanette) of Edgewater, Md.; Christine Young of Tikrit, Iraq; Heather Young-Bozsoki (Jeff) of Orlando, Fla.; Brian Marien of Valencia and Barron Marien of Longview, Texas. She was great-grandmother to Lisa, Andrew III and Kyle Young of Edgewater, Md., and Valerie and Marjorie Haase of Brunswick, Ga., daughters of the late granddaughter, Judy Haase, (husband Robert).

Marie Young, a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and dear friend to all who knew her, excelled in making crafts which she gave away to all who admired them. Her passion was growing flowers of all varieties, especially orchids, while living for many years in Pompano Beach, Fla.

She was a member of the Odenton, Md., Chapter No. 29, Order of the Eastern Star.
