Elvira Grace "Eva" Ficca, 92, of Lower Burrell died Sunday at the Willows Presbyterian Care Center in Oakmont.

Born Sept. 7, 1914, in Salida, Colo., she was the daughter of Francesco and Maria Giuseppina Cononico Paulice.

She was a homemaker, loved to cook and bake and was an avid Steelers fan.

Mrs. Ficca was a member of the Mount St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington, and the Columbiano Federation.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Ficca, Ph.D., of Butler and Remo Ficca of Lower Burrell; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Phyllis) Nolan of Lower Burrell; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

A brother, Gerald Paulice of Lower Burrell; and two sisters, Mary Naccarato of Vandergrift and Mildred Perry of Arnold, also survive.

Her husband, Giuseppe Ficca, whom she married Sept. 22, 1934, preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and a daughter-in-law.

<B>FICCA </B>— A Mass of Christian burial for Elvira Grace "Eva" Ficca, who died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, was Wednesday at the Mount. St. Peters Roman Catholic Church. Burial followed in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.Donations may be made to Family Hospice Palliative, 50 Moffet St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.Arrangements were be handled by her grandson, Ronald J. Ficca, <B>FICCA FUNERAL HOME</B>, Grove City.
