Thomas Heinzman

Thomas John Heinzman, 65, of Clay Township died Monday evening at his home after a three-year illness.

Born Feb. 18, 1941, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the Lawrence John Heinzman and Margaret J. Macklin Heinzman.

Heinzman was raised a Catholic. He was employed by the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion of Florida.

Surviving are his mother of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; his wife, Patricia Ann Lavelle Heinzman of Clay Township, whom he married April 1, 1976; three sons, Joseph I Heinzman, who lived with him in Clay Township, Richard J. Heinzman of Lehigh Acres, and Thomas J. Heinzman of Pittsburgh; and a daughter, Roxanne Beer of Pittsburgh.

Also surviving are his brothers, Robert V. Heinzman and James T. Heinzman, both of Lehigh Acres; his aunt, Lillian L. Pfeifer and cousin, Cookie Pfeifer, both of New Kensington; and his best friend, Gloria Gramz of Ohio. Seven grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Heinzman was preceded in death by his father.

<B>HEINZMAN</B> — Friends of Thomas John Heinzman, who died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home officiated by Heinzman's aunt Anita Macklin, Eucharistic Minister of Holy Trinity Parish in Robinson Township.
