Francis N. Gillott
Francis N. "Frannie" Gillott, 64, of Butler died peacefully at his home Monday with his sons at his side. Due to her illness, his wife was unable to be with him when he passed away.
Born March 26, 1942, in Butler, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Florence Grynuck Gillott.
Mr. Gillott, a graduate of Butler High School and numerous marine technical schools, was a marine technician since 1969.
He was a partner in West Penn Marine Service on Route 8 South since 1991 and had worked at Pullman Standard for 19 years until the plant closed.
He won a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle in a Shriner's charitable raffle, became a true Harley enthusiast and was a member of the National Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Club.
He collected Lionel trains and was a member of the Lionel Train Club. He also enjoyed boating and loved his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy A. Faulk Gillott, whom he married April 9, 1960; two sons, Dewaine F. Gillott and his wife, Michelle, and Darin E. Gillott, all of Butler; and two grandchildren, Bria "Princess" and Treh "Bull" Gillott, both of Chicora. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A sister, Janet Eastman, preceded him in death.

Cunningham St. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Thomas, pastor of the Community Alliance Church, officiating.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Unit of the American Cancer Society P.O.
