Donald R. Kammerdiener
Donald R. Kammerdiener, 53, of Church Street Extension, Petrolia, died Saturday at his home of natural causes.
Born in Butler County, Nov. 15, 1953, he was the son of J. Oscar Kammerdiener and the late D. Neiline Bartley Kammerdiener Snow.
He was a 1971 graduate of Karns City High School, and soon after graduation, he entered the Marine Corps and served aboard the aircraft carrier, the USS Forrestal.
Mr. Kammerdiener enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He attended the Petrolia Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, J. Oscar and Ellen Barr Kammerdiener of Parker; a son, Christopher Bradley Kammerdiener of Washington state; and his siblings, Sally Lucas and her husband, Terry, of Karns City, Joseph Kammerdiener of Killeen, Texas, David Kammerdiener and his wife, Elizabeth, of Rossiter, Richard Kammerdiener and his wife, Katherine, of Wisconsin and William and Jay Kammerdiener, both of Parker; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elana, and a nephew, Davey Kammerdiener.
<B>KAMMERDIENER</B> — Friends of Donald R. Kammerdiener, who died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Rowe, a retired Presbyterian pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Chicora American Legion and the VFE Ceremonial Squad.Memorial contributions may be made to Mrs. Sally Lucas, P.O.
