Alfred W. Rumbaugh

Alfred W. Rumbaugh, 96, of Berlin Center, Ohio, formerly of Emlenton and West Monterey, died at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at Laurie Ann Nursing Home, Newton Falls, Ohio.

Born Dec. 3, 1910, in Clarion County, he was the son of John W. and Laura Brogan Rumbaugh.

He retired in 1976 as a coal miner at LTV Steel Co. in Warren, Ohio.

Mr. Rumbaugh attended Park Hill Church of God and Church of God of Warren, Ohio.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary F. Stahl of Berlin Center; a son, Byron J. "Bud" Rumbaugh of Emlenton; a daughter-in-law; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

His wife, Leona Radaker Rumbaugh, died Oct. 18, 1991. He also was preceded in death by a son, daughter, and two brothers.

<B>RUMBAUGH </B>— Friends of Alfred W. Rumbaugh, who died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Hile Funeral Home</B>, 1204 Kerr Ave, Emlenton. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lonny Wolford, pastor of the Park Hill Church of God, officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dutch Hill, Clarion County.
