Roberta 'Tiny' Gardner
Roberta "Tiny" Mae Gardner, 85, of New Wilmington, formerly of West Sunbury, died Friday at UPMC Horizon Shenango Valley.
Born April 25, 1921, in Butler County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Wolford Thompson.
She was a former member of the Church of the Nazarene in Butler.
Mrs. Gardner is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Ruth) Stone of Butler, Mrs. Albert (Donna) Depew of Renfrew, Shirley Porter of California and Mrs. Thomas (Marilyn) Banks of New Wilmington; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; and four sisters, Pearl Wamboldt of Slippery Rock, Jean Crispin of Jacksonville, Fla., Kathryn Luppe of Butler and Joan Johnson of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey Gardner, who died on March 4, 1981; a son; a daughter; a grandson, and two brothers.
<B>GARDNER — </B>Friends of Roberta "Tiny" Mae Gardner, who died on Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, </B>137 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Cypher of Victory Christian Center in New Wilmington officiating.
