Donald Bachman
Donald Edward Bachman, 84 of Butler died Friday at Sunnyview Home.
Born Oct. 23, 1922, in Jefferson Township, he was the son of Edward and Pearl Beggs Bachman.
He served in the Army during World War II in Europe.
He was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler, the Saxonburg American Legion Post 683, the Saxonburg VFW Post 7376 and the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Wiegand Bachman, whom he married on June 22, 1942. Also surviving are two daughters, Nancy Bachman of Butler and Mrs. Michael (Donna) Schnur of Butler; a sister, Mrs. Frederick (Ruth) Diehl of Beaufort, S.C.; two granddaughters, Crystal and Shawna Schnur, and his great-grandson, Trey.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Paul Bachman, and an infant sister.
<B>BACHMAN</B> — Friends of Donald Edward Bachman, who died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Dr. Alden W. Towberman officiating.Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
