BC3 honors top alumni at reception

Butler County Community College Alumni Association recognized the 2006 Distinguished Alumni Award recipients at the Foundation and Alumni Dinner in October.

This year's honorees are James Cunningham, Kenneth "Chris" Jones, Margy Lang, and Roger Reeb.

Cunningham attended BC3 in the early 1970s before transferring to Slippery Rock University. For the past 10 years, he has been an independent fundraising consultant and senior associate for the firm of Gronlund Sayther Brunkow, as well as Anlin Development Services. He was recently named the 2005 Outstanding Fundraising Executive by the Western Pennsylvania Association of Fundraising Executives.

Jones graduated from BC3 with his associate degree in nursing in 1990. He is employed at Butler Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit.

Lang attended BC3 in 1977 before transferring to Bethany College in West Virginia. In 1999, she created and now serves as president of Sportive Marketing in St. Augustine Beach, Fla.

Reeb graduated from BC3 in 1982. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in Ohio, an associate professor of psychology and director of graduate programs in psychology and clinical psychology at the University of Dayton.

Reeb has published numerous psychological papers, authored two books and is a frequent presenter with the Midwestern Psychological Association.
