BC3 offers session for those interested in taking GED
A representative from Butler County Community College's Adult Literacy Program will hold a session for people interested in obtaining their general equivalency diploma from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Butler Public Library, the library announced in a news release.
Paul Lucas, tutor coordinator of the program, will host the meeting in the library's second floor conference room.
"This will be a great time to find out when and where the official test is given as well as what types of questions are on the test," Lucas said in the release.
"Additionally, people will be able to talk about the free classes at BC3 designed to help prepare them for the test," he said.
No reservations are required.
The library's reference department recently purchased materials to help people prepare for the test, plus other opportunities, the release said.
