Marie J. Girardi, 85, of Sunnyview Home died Thursday evening at the home.

Born Nov. 23, 1920, in Butler, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Adeline Mendicino Girardi.

She was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are a brother, Robert Girard of Butler; a sister, Frances Betty of Butler; many nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by a nephew.

Girardi, who died Thursday, June 1, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home,</B> 429 Center Ave.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.A bereavement group of the St. Michael parish will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home to conduct a scriptural wake service.
