The Prospect Boys &Girls Club under-12 indoor soccer team won the Mars Boosters annual Spring Tournament by defeating Mars, 1-0.

Cole McCandless scored the lone goal, assisted by C.A. Thomas. MVPJordan Marks had 17 saves in goal.

• Prospect also defeated Crew-11, 11-3, recently as Michael Stutz, Thomas, Quay Barnhart, Levi Leonberg, Kyle Hinchberger and Molly Weitzel scored goals. Rachel Caldwell, Danielle Wissinger, Thomas and Barnhart had assists.

• Luc LaChance and Joshua Stutz each scored a goal, but the Prospect Boys and Girls U-10 indoor soccer team closed out its season with a 7-2 loss to the Golden Boots.

• Marks had nine saves in goal as Prospect's under-14 traveling team tied Seneca Valley, 0-0.

Karns City 5, Seneca Valley 2 — Jesse Garing, Brandon Bowser, Luke Morrow, Anthony Miller and Eric McCue each scored goals as Karns City downed Seneca Valley in a Butler County Soccer Association League under-14 game over the weekend.Vanessa Brynda scored two goals for Seneca Valley.
