YOUTH SOCCER

The Prospect Boys and Girls Club's under-14 soccer team posted two wins recently, defeating Seneca Valley, 5-1, and Laurel, 5-2.

Danielle Wissinger, Timmy Regrut, Cody Wolinski and Michael Stutz (2) scored against Seneca Valley.

Wolinski, Quay Barnhart, Stutz and Regrut scored against Laurel.

Jordan Marks and Wissinger split time in goal during both wins.

Prospect later tied New Brighton #2, 4-4, as Barnhart and Cody Prelec scored a goal each and Wolinski added two. Marks had 10 saves in goal.

Cole McCandless, Evan Mysliewic and C.A. Thomas helped the Prospect Boys and Girls defeat the Seneca Valley Ball Hogs 4-1.Quay Barnhart, Danielle Wissinger and Shane Fichter added assists while strong defensive performances were turned in by Barnhart, Rachl Caldwell and Michael Stutz.Jordan marks and Levi Leonberg split the win in net for Prospect.Prospect Boys and Girls Club tied New Brighton, 4-4, as Barnhart and Cody Prelec scored goals and Cody Wilinski scored two.Knoch defeated the Seneca Valley Spirit, 4-2, despite goals from Laura Byko and Tricia Connolly.

Joshua Stutz, Luc LaChance and Andrew Jesteadt scored goals as the Prospect Boys and Girls Club defeated Blackhawk, 3-2. John Marks was the winning goalkeeper.
