Jarrett Lavan tossed four innings of one-hit ball with no runs allowed, Carl Oschlick added a double, single and two RBI and Aaron Markle had two hits as the UAA Giants defeated the Butler Cubs 13-7 in Mid-County Pony action.

The Cubs had a double and single from Tom Chyerzynski and singles by Dustin Hilgar and Brandon Lamotte.

UAA Giants 17, Butler Elks 6 - Jarrett Lavan had a double, single and three RBI; Carl Oschlick two singles and three RBI and Nathan Christy two singles and two RBI, all for the Giants.The Elks received a double and triple by Steven Bartley, a double by Ben Martin and a single by Damian Bottles.

Zelienople Paul Blinn Agency 7, Center Township Marlins 5 - Russ King tossed a complete-game five-hitter, Chris Dorogy added a double and single and Josh Mann, Trey Carbeau and Adam Teets had two hits apiece for the winners.Cole Harvey had a double, single and two runs scored for the Marlins.

Butler Township Gold 7, McCandless 3 - Dustin Uhlman pitched a four-hitter, Eric King had three hits and Roman Bargo added two triples to lead Butler.

Saxonburg C/M Blue 10, Moniteau 3 - Mitchell Shaw had a home run and triple, Bobby Yenick two doubles, Robert Zanella a double and single and Sam Stone three hits, all for Saxonburg.Moniteau had a triple and single from Tony Campbell and a double by Josh McCormick.

Center Township Rockies 13, Moniteau 5 - Cole Baxter had a double and two singles, Dustin DeFrancisis three singles and Jake Thompson and Anthony Fudoli two hits each to lead the Rockies.Moniteau had a double and single from Mason Spencer and two singles from Josh Madru.

<B>East Butler Preferred Physical Therapy A's 12, UAA Blue Jays 7 -</B> Eric Reges hit two home runs and Zack Young hurled four scoreless innings to key the A's.Ryan Geibel and Grant Nagle had two hits each and Tim Geibel added a triple, also for the A's. Beau Bachman had two hits for the Blue Jays.

Seneca Valley defeated Whambys 6-4 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday before Whambys rebounded with an 11-6 decision in the nightcap.No other details were available.
