Barbara Henicheck

Barbara E. Henicheck, 83, of Mars, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, Feb. 1, 2021, at her home.

Born in New Castle on Jan. 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Grace Bauder Wiley.

Barbara had been an elementary school teacher for the Mars Area School District.

She was an active member of the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church, and had been a member and a past Worthy Matron for the Mars Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She also had volunteered for Lizzy’s Bikes in Mars.

Surviving are two daughters, Valerie Henicheck of Mars and Libby Schultz (Ed) of Cranberry Township; her grandchildren, Jacob, Lauren and Madison; and her great-grandson, Odin.

She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Henicheck.

Henicheck — Arrangements for Barbara E. Henicheck, who died Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, are private under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars.
