11:48 p.m. Sept. 11 — Corey A. Bommer, 23, of Renfrew, was injured when the pickup he was driving traveled down a hillside and overturned onto its driver's side in a field along Leisie Road just east of Browns Mill Road in Forward Township. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.Sept. 10 — Eric N. Barrionuevo, 36, of Gibsonia, was arraigned on charges he illegally tried to buy a firearm in March at Sportsman's Supply Company on Route 356 in Summit Township. He is accused of providing false information on a required background check form March 25 when he tried to buy a handgun.Barrionuevo is charged with unlawfully attempting to buy a firearm, a felony, and two counts of unsworn falsification to authorities, both misdemeanors. He was released on his own recognizance following arraignment.4:52 p.m. Sept. 6 — No one was injured when an SUV driven by Joseph D. Steiner, 26, of Harrisville, rear-ended a car on North Duffy Road at Cornell Drive in Center Township. Michael Doerflinger, 20, of Slippery Rock, was the other driver. Police cited Steiner for driving with a suspended license and driving too fast for conditions.

6:04 p.m. Saturday — An unknown shoplifter, described as a Black man in his 20s, made off with several clothing items, valued at $125, from the Old Navy store at Premium Outlets on Leesburg Grove City Road in Springfield Township. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.Saturday — Bubble gum, snacks and soft drinks were among the items stolen after the concession stand at the Vic Hughes Little League Complex on Barkeyville Road in Pine Township was broken into and ransacked. The key-pad lock, a chain and clasp were damaged in the burglary. Also damaged were straws, napkins, plates and cups that were in the concession stand.A police report noted that between 3 and 4 p.m. that day, four white boys were seen on the rooftop of the press box at the baseball complex. Anyone with information about the boys or the incident is asked to call police.
