10:19 a.m. March 2 — Kristoffer M. Ion, 28, of Butler was allegedly caught driving with a suspended license-DUI related after a traffic stop on the 200 block of West Jefferson Street. Police said when they got to Ion’s car, they found a small child sitting on the back seat, and no booster seat in the vehicle.

A check of the defendant’s driving record, according to court documents, turned up two prior convictions for driving during suspension-DUI related.

In addition to driving with a suspended license-DUI related, he is charged with driving a vehicle with a cracked windshield and failing to secure the child in a booster seat.

9:19 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Jeremy T. Crowder, 42, of Butler struck another vehicle at South Eberhart Road and Route 68. Neal Bostanic, 37, of New Brighton, Beaver County, was the other driver.

No one was injured, but Bostanic’s vehicle had to be towed. Police cited Crowder for running a red light.

1:24 p.m. Monday — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at Route 68 and North Eberhart Road. Lorraine Malone, 72, of Butler, one of the drivers, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Kylie McIndoe, 24, of Renfrew was the other driver.

Police said both drivers told officers they had the green light at the intersection. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Monday — Dominick P. Pusateri, 24, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence stemming from a crash earlier this month when his pickup truck struck the garage door of a home on David Drive. Police said they got there around 4:25 a.m. March 1, and found him asleep at the wheel.

Monday — Police charged Brandi P. Zediker, 23, of Butler with drugged driving in connection with a traffic stop Feb. 16 on South Duffy Road. In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, Zediker was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle, and disregarding traffic lanes.

1:25 a.m. Monday — Gary L. Reed Jr., 49, of Clearfield Township was arrested for drunken driving after he crashed his pickup truck into a ditch on the 400 block of Carbon Center Road in Clearfield Township.

Police said his blood-alcohol level was found to be 0.180 percent, or more than twice the state’s 0.08 percent legal limit for alcohol.

Reed was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license with a blood-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or greater, failing to keep right and careless driving. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bond following arraignment.

1:38 a.m. Thursday — Darren E. Monn, 34, of Prospect was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop on Route 8 at Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township. He is charged with DUI, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Mercer[/naviga:h3]

4:45 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Christopher D. Turner, 35, of Grove City and Daizy M. Libengood, 23, of Apollo collided at Route 258 and North Liberty Plaingrove Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County. No one was injured.
