Tuesday — Anthony N. Salvia, 37, of Slippery Rock was charged with driving under the influence stemming from a one-vehicle crash last month on the Route 422 westbound on-ramp at Moraine Pointe Plaza. Police said he drove into a gravel pile. In addition to DUI, he is charged with driving too fast for conditions and disregarding traffic lanes.

3:21 p.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Amanda Wiest, 23, of Butler collided with another vehicle on White Oak Drive. Ashley Prejsnar, 30, of Butler was the other driver. No one was injured, but both vehicles had to be towed.

Friday — Robert M. Myers Sr., 51, of Grove City was charged with a threat-related incident in November at Butler Memorial Hospital. Police said he is accused of threatening hospital staff with a gun around 3:10 a.m. Nov. 18 after he went to the emergency room for treatment.

He is charged with possession of a firearm without a carry license, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

1:46 a.m. Sunday — Bradley Fye, 30, of Ellwood City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Route 68 and Bus Lane in Connoquenessing Township.

1:44 a.m. Sunday — James R. Powers, 25, of Slippery Rock was injured when he lost control of his pickup truck and struck a tree along Route 8 just north of Muddy Creek Drive in Center Township. He suffered an apparent minor injury and his truck had to be towed.

Police cited Powers for disregarding traffic lanes.

12:57 p.m. Saturday — Jake V. Reges, 29, of Cabot lost control of his sport utility vehicle on snow-covered Smith Road in Clearfield Township and slid into a tree. He was not injured, but his vehicle had to be towed.

12:05 p.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Juan I. Moreno, 39, of Butler struck a utility pole and fence after traveling off snow-covered Route 38 in Concord Township. He was not injured, but the pole and fence were both damaged.

Police cited Moreno for driving too fast for conditions, disregarding traffic lanes and driving a vehicle without insurance.

11:14 a.m. Saturday — A pickup driven by Eric P. Homa, 20, of Renfrew struck a ditch on snow-covered Route 68 just east of Oakland Lane in Oakland Township. He was not injured. Police cited Homa for driving too fast for conditions and disregarding traffic lanes.

10:30 a.m. Saturday — A 53-year-old woman reported that a necklace, valued at $636, was stolen from her car at her home on the 500 block of Claytonia Road in Clay Township.

12:43 a.m. Saturday — Ronald Snow, 58, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Reimer and South Argyle streets in Petrolia.

7:20 p.m. Friday — Kenneth A. Knauss, 65, of Butler suffered a suspected minor injury after the pickup he was driving struck a ditch on Route 422 east in Clearfield Township at the Summit Township line.

Police said Knauss fled the crash scene before troopers arrived. He was cited for failing to immediately notify police of an accident, abandoning a vehicle on a road, false reports, disregarding traffic lanes and not wearing a seat belt.

7:24 a.m. Friday — A full-sized van driven by Penelope L. Bombara, 63, of Butler struck a concrete bridge rail on Jamisonville Road in Center Township. Bombara and five passengers — four of them children — were not injured.

The crash occurred, according to a police report, as Bombara was crossing the bridge westbound and a salt truck approached in the opposite direction. She attempted to pull to the right of the road, causing her vehicle to slide in the snow and go off the road before hitting the bridge rail.

7:16 p.m. Jan. 16 — An SUV driven by Linda J. Stauffer, 54, of Gibsonia and a car driven by Kameron A. Grassi, 18, of Butler collided at Dinnerbell and Victory roads in Jefferson Township. No one was injured. Police cited Stauffer for driving too fast for conditions.

4:24 p.m. Jan. 16 — A car driven by James C. Foran, 46, of Butler rear-ended another car that was stopped at a red light on Route 8 just north of the Clearview Mall in Center Township. Susan J. Bowman, 75, of Butler, was the other driver.

No one was injured, but both vehicles were damaged. Foran’s car had to be towed. Police cited Foran for driving too fast for conditions.

5:01 p.m. Jan. 15 — Cynthia Richter, 60, of Portersville was arrested for suspicion of DUI after a call to New Castle and Harlansburg roads in Worth Township. The call came from a gas station employee reporting a woman who “appeared lost, disoriented and didn’t know where her vehicle was,” according to a police report.

4:23 p.m. Jan. 14 — A pickup driven by Bette A. Cook, 55, of Butler rear-ended a car on Route 356 just south of Dreher Farm Road in Summit Township. No injuries were reported. Police cited Cook for driving too fast for conditions and driving a vehicle without insurance.

3:46 p.m. Jan. 7 — Cindy L. Lemmon, 62, of Butler was injured when a tractor-trailer collided with the sport utility vehicle she was driving on Route 356 just east of Fisher Road in Jefferson Township. She suffered an apparent minor injury. Police cited the other driver, Christopher T. Isett, 62, of Monroeville, Allegheny County, for making an improper left turn.
