POLICE REPORT

The following items were gathered from various police departments:

7:18 a.m. Monday — Julienne Anderson, 17, of Slippery Rock was hurt when she lost control of her vehicle, struck a ditch and rolled over on Greenwood Drive near Benbrook Road. Anderson was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a neck injury, according to a police report. She was cited, police said, for driving too fast for conditions.

Nov. 4 — Evan W. Kuntz, 20, of Mars was charged with drunken driving stemming from a one-vehicle wreck in October on Denny Road. Police got the call about 7:20 a.m. Oct. 12. Kuntz told police that he lost control of his pickup truck and hit an embankment.Results of a blood test later showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.156 percent, according to court documents. In Pennsylvania, drivers under 21 are considered intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or higher. The legal limit for adult drivers is 0.08 percent. Kuntz is charged with driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, and underage drinking.

Oct. 15 — Nathan N. Saul, 28, of Lyndora was charged with being more than twice the state's legal limit for alcohol in September when he crashed his sport utility vehicle in a group of small pine trees along Renfrew Road at the Saxonburg Area Authority treatment plant.Police said Saul was holding a can of beer in his right hand when they got to the vehicle about 9 p.m. Sept. 22. A subsequent breath test showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.193 percent. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated.In addition to driving under the influence, Saul is charged with driving with a suspended license-DUI related, driving with an open container of alcohol, and careless driving.

6:24 a.m. Monday — No one was injured when three vehicles struck the same deer on Interstate 79 north in Jackson Township. Police said the crash happened when an unidentified vehicle struck the deer first while traveling in the right lane. The driver did not stop, according to a police report.The deer, after getting hit, moved into the left lane where it was struck by a car driven by Peter R. Agresti, 33, of Erie. In turn, the deer was hit once again by a car driven by Emily L. West, 21, of McDonald, Washington County. West's car had to be towed.7:08 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by David R. Dickinson, 40, of Ambridge, Beaver County, struck a car at Route 356 and Caldwell Drive in Jefferson Township. Jennifer Milcic, 30, of Sarver was the other driver. No one was injured. Police cited Dickinson for a stop sign violation and driving an unregistered vehicle.7:46 a.m. Friday — Cole M. McCarthy, 20, of Harmony was hurt when he lost control of his car on icy Upper Harmony Road in Connoquenessing Township, and struck an oncoming pickup truck. He suffered an apparent minor injury. The other driver, Christopher B. Kiker, 45, of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles had to be towed.Nov. 4 — Police charged William S. Raub, 33, of Emlenton with drugged driving in connection with an August traffic stop in Butler. Police said after the stop about 1:10 a.m. Aug. 26 on Glenn Avenue near Robinson Avenue, Raub admitted to using Suboxone and smoking marijuana earlier.Raub was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test, but phlebotomists were unable to obtain a sufficient sample, according to court documents. He was taken back to the barracks where he was given an evaluation by a certified drug recognition expert.He is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license, disregarding traffic lanes, and careless driving.1:53 a.m. Oct. 19 — Melissa A. Confer, 29, of Parker was issued nine traffic tickets after a suspected hit-and-run crash in Bruin. Police said as she fled, her SUV struck a guardrail on Route 268 just south of Annisville Road.Confer is charged with hit-and-run, failing to immediately notify police of an accident, driving with a suspended license, careless driving, disregarding traffic lanes, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving a vehicle without insurance, failing to carry her driver's license, and failing to have her vehicle registration card.
