10:01 p.m. Tuesday — No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at New Castle Road and Sharon Drive. Police said the wreck occurred when a vehicle driven by Trang T. Dinh, 26, of Riverdale crashed into a vehicle driven by Amy Benvenuti, 40, of Blairsville, Indiana County. Police cited Dinh for a stop sign violation.

5:10 p.m. June 29 — John T. Tirk, 42, allegedly broke a mirror and a door during a domestic dispute with his wife at their home on Woodlawn Road. The woman, who apparently was not injured, ran into a bedroom before fleeing the house and reporting the incident. At the home, police found an apparently intoxicated Tirk with cuts to his right wrist and forearm, according to court documents, and they also noticed pieces of broken glass from a mirror and the frame of the bedroom door with “fist-sized holes” in it. Tirk is charged with simple assault.
