Dec. 28 — A Beaver County man was charged with drugged driving in connection with a rollover wreck last month on Renfrew Road.

Police said that around 10 a.m. Dec. 4, Timothy R. Beeman, 35, of Monaca lost control of his pickup truck, which was pulling a utility trailer, and rolled over a hillside near the entrance of the Saxonburg Area Authority plant.

Emergency crews found Beeman and the truck in the woods about 20 feet short of the Connoquenessing Creek. He appeared uninjured.

He told police, according to court documents, that he was on the job for a landscaping business. He also claimed that he wrecked after swerving to avoid another vehicle in his lane.

Toxicology results showed that he had marijuana and buprenorphine in his system. Buprenorphine is a painkiller that is used to treat opioid addiction.
