1:53 a.m. Dec. 9 — Slippery Rock resident Eric M.B. Campbell, 24, was found unconscious in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on Campus Lane at the intersection of New Castle Road. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and given a blood test that showed he was above the legal limit for alcohol. Campbell was charged with DUI, trespass by motor vehicle and careless driving.

7:52 a.m. Jan 31 — Robert Murray, 54, of Prospect was charged with defiant trespass after entering the Walmart at Butler Commons. Murray had been banned from the store by management.

3:56 p.m. Sunday — A man backing his vehicle out of the Kentucky Fried Chicken on New Castle Road struck vehicles traveling both east and west. Bruce Double, 60, of Renfrew first struck a westbound vehicle driven by Bobbie Jo Zeigler, 39, of Butler. He then continued to back up and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Richard L. Huckestein, 65, of Butler. Everyone except Double sustained minor injuries and were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. West Penn Power responded to repair damage to a utility pole. Charges against Double are pending.

10:10 p.m. Friday — While investigating a separate incident at the Days Inn on Route 8, officers came upon Tamara Sue Langston, 45, of Russellton, who was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
