12:10 p.m. Wednesday — Police said a 57-year-old Butler man was at the state police barracks for criminal fingerprint processing and showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Police said the man had driven himself to the station, and their investigation would continue pending a blood analysis.

6 a.m. Wednesday — Police said someone broke into two vehicles on state Route 4011 in Sugarcreek Township, near the Butler and Armstrong county line, and stole a .40-caliber Smith and Wesson M&P Shield pistol and a Samsung Galaxy phone. Police said the cars belong to two Chicora residents, and their investigation is ongoing.
