6:51 p.m. Friday — Ryan J. Fuqua, 38, was arrested after allegedly assaulting Jamie Fuqua during a domestic dispute at their home in the 400 block of New Castle Road.

Police said the victim told them that she and her husband had gotten into an argument over his drinking when he pushed her onto a glass table, according to court documents. The table shattered, leaving Jamie Fuqua with a cut on her right elbow.

The defendant admitted that he had returned home “a little drunk,” documents said, but he claimed he only pushed his wife “out of his face.” She fell onto the table, he acknowledged.

District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned Fuqua on charges of simple assault and harassment, and released him on his own recognizance.

The suspect, Tina M. Budner, 47, of Winfield Township is accused of taking candles and other household goods, valued at a combined $391, from the store, according to court documents.

When a store security employee tried to stop the defendant, police said, she fled, driving away in a sport utility vehicle. Officers checked the area but were unable to immediately find her.
