Butler Police6:33 p.m. Friday — Cody J. Delaney, 20, of Butler was injured when a car struck him as he tried to walk across North Jackson Street near the YMCA. Delaney was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a minor leg injury.The driver, Timothy R. Seezox, 50, of Clay Township, told officers that he did not see Delaney. No charges were filed.10:17 p.m. Nov. 23 — A boy was hurt when a sport utility vehicle driven by Melinda A. Anderson, 38, of Butler struck a car at West Wayne and Liberty streets. Anderson’s passenger, Ethan Anderson, 16, of Butler, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with an unknown leg injury.Police cited Melinda Anderson for a stop sign violation and for driving with a suspended license. Christy L. Cynthia, 53, of Penn Township was the other driver.6:22 p.m. Nov. 23 — Amanda M. Lillibridge, 30, of Butler lost control of her car and struck a fire hydrant at East Penn and North McKean streets. The hydrant did not appear to be damaged, a police report said.7:50 a.m. Nov. 22 — A car driven by Dylan L. Beachem, 18, of West Sunbury rear-ended another car in the 300 block of North Main Street. Beachem told officers the accident happened when he fell asleep, a police report said.No charges were filed. Dory J. Pierce, 52, of West Sunbury was the other driver.11:50 a.m. Nov. 18 — Karen L. Cooper, 77, of Butler was hurt when her car collided with a sport utility vehicle at North Chestnut and West Penn streets.Cooper, who suffered minor injuries, said she did not see the other vehicle because she was momentarily blinded by the sun, according to a police report. Police cited her for a stop sign violation. Thomas H. Trinko, 81, of Karns City was the other driver.

Butler Twp Police8:16 p.m. Monday — Robert A. Biedenbach, 56, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting a heater, valued at $140, at the Ollie’s discount store at Moraine Pointe Plaza. He is charged with retail theft.Monday — Police charged three suspects in connection with a Nov. 4 house check by Butler County probation officers in Lyndora.The officers had gone to the home on Bessemer Avenue looking for Shane M. Snyder, 34, who lives there, court documents said. They found Snyder at the apartment along with Kayla R. Bedell, 26, of Butler and Kurtis E. Keefer, 36, of Center Township.A search of the home, documents said, turned up a plate with suspected crack cocaine on it under the sink. Tucked under the bed, officers found a small change purse that contained a folded piece of paper with numerous small rocks of suspected crack.The purse also held two crack pipes and other contraband. On a table next to the bed, police said, the officers found three Addrerall pills.Snyder and Keefer both denied owning any of the drugs. Bedell, documents said, admitted the crack in the purse was hers.All three suspects are charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.1:19 p.m. Friday — Brigid A. Foran, 40, of Center Township allegedly punched another woman in the face during an altercation outside the Valley Dairy store at the Butler Commons shopping plaza.Police said the incident began when Foran confronted Cheryl Schoeffel about leaving her children alone in a car in front of the store. But Schoeffel told police that she had only been gone for 30 seconds and had kept her eyes on the car the whole time, court documents said.Schoeffel recounted that when she returned to the vehicle, Foran was standing next to it. She said Foran “got into her face,” according to a police affidavit. She said she pushed the suspect away, and Foran punched her in the face. Schoeffel suffered a cut to the inside of her lip.Foran, documents said, admitted that she struck Schoeffel after being pushed.Two witnesses saw the altercation and described Foran as the “aggressor,” the affidavit said. She is charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.4:14 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Dustin Bowser, 33, of Saxonburg struck a utility pole at Morton Avenue and Graham Road.Thursday — An undetermined amount of property was stolen in an overnight burglary at Spectrum Insurance Services on New Castle Road. The unknown suspect got inside after smashing in the front door.2:29 p.m. Nov. 10 — A student was found with alcohol at the Butler County Vocational Technical School. The suspect, a 17-year-old boy who police did not identify, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.

Grove City Police7:43 p.m. Saturday — Two teenagers were arrested after police found them inside a fenced-in area at Cooper Industrial Commons on Lincoln Avenue. The suspects — Dale Wentzel, 18, of Grove City and a 17-year-old boy who police did not identify — are both charged with trespass.11:59 a.m. Nov. 23 — Jeremiah J. Kloos, 19, of Grove City managed to elude police who tried to arrest him on warrants. Officers first spotted Kloos on a retaining wall behind Jean’s Super Subs on West Main Street.But before police could stop him, the suspect ran off, crossing Route 58 and into oncoming traffic in his getaway. Officers chased after but lost Kloos.He is charged in the incident with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia and crossing a road without yielding to traffic.Anyone with information about Kloos’ whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.Nov. 23 — An unknown thief stole a blue Mongoose bicycle that was outside the True Convenience store on North Broad Street. The bike was taken between 2 and 7 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

State Police, ButlerTuesday — Police identified a suspect — Joshua Space, 24, of Butler — in the theft of $1,300 in property stolen from three vehicles March 16 at a family’s home on Fawn Drive in Connoquenessing Township. The investigation, police said, is ongoing.10:57 a.m. Monday — A 65-year-old Sarver woman was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a two-vehicle crash on Route 356 south of Great Belt Road in Jefferson Township. The suspect, who police did not identify, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.Charges of DUI are pending toxicology results.8:35 p.m. Sunday — Paul J. Kafando, 22, of Indiana, Pa., was caught with suspected marijuana following a traffic stop in Summit Township.Police said Kafando was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for speeding on Route 422 at the Mitchell Hill Road exit. When the trooper approached the car, he reported a “strong odor” of marijuana coming from it.A search of the car turned up a vacuum-sealed package and a plastic bag both containing suspected marijuana, according to court documents. Kafando, police said, admitted the alleged marijuana was his.He was arraigned on felony and misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana, and released on unsecured bail.1:40 a.m. Sunday — Dustin A. Palmer, 26, of Butler was arrested for suspected drugged driving after his car struck a concrete barrier on North Duffy Road in Center Township.Palmer, who suffered a minor injury to his left arm, reeked of alcohol when police got there, according to court documents. But police also suspected he was impaired by drugs.The defendant was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Toxicology reports are pending.Palmer is charged with driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs, driving on the wrong side of the road, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and reckless driving.The defendant’s passenger, Barry Murray, 21, of Butler, also was arrested after troopers learned that he was wanted on a felony warrant. He was subsequently placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant.10 a.m. Sunday — A 40-year-old Butler woman, who police did not identify, is suspected of DUI following a traffic stop at Route 8 and Roosevelt Boulevard in Butler.Police said that when they got to car they noticed suspected marijuana-laced candy on the dashboard. The woman “admitted to eating the marijuana candy prior to operating her vehicle,” according to a police report.The woman’s passenger, Gerald W. Kirker, 43, of Butler, was found with suspected marijuana and a pipe hidden in his sock, police said.The investigation continues and charges are pending.2:04 a.m. Friday — Robert J. Eppinger, 32, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 8 and Summit Road in Center Township.2:30 p.m. Oct., 27 — Jesse L. Goff, 45, of Zelienople was arrested for suspicion of DUI after he crashed his vehicle on Route 19 just north of Portersville Road in Portersville.
