Butler Police5:51 p.m. Friday — Sheldon L. Hile, 19, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, allegedly swung a baseball bat at a 23-year-old man during a profanity-laced altercation on American Avenue. No injuries were reported. Police charged Hile with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Austin D. Young, 20, of Butler was charged with drunken and drugged driving along with a list of traffic violations stemming from a rollover, hit-and-run crash last month on Vogel Road. Police said Young lost control of his car near Old Plank Road and wrecked before walking away. He was found a short time later. The crash caused an unspecified amount of damage.In addition to driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, Young is charged with four counts of hit-and-run. He’s also charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and failing to immediately notify police of an accident.Additionally, police cited him for minors prohibited from driving with any alcohol in their system, abandoning a vehicle on a highway, driving at an unsafe speed, disregarding traffic lanes, reckless driving and careless driving.Monday — Police charged Devon A. Smith, 27, of Butler with DUI in connection with a traffic stop about 1:30 a.m. June 13 on Route 356. Smith also was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and failing to notify authorities of a change of address.Monday — Gregory L. Huff, 50, of Butler was charged with DUI stemming from a traffic stop just before midnight June 11 on Hansen Avenue. He also was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving without a license, driving on the wrong side of the road, disregarding traffic lanes, making an improper turn and careless driving.Monday — Police charged Brian R. Roush, 33, of Chicora with drunken driving in a crash earlier this month in the 100 block of Teakwood Road. He lost control of his car about 9:50 p.m. June 11, traveled through a yard and struck a utility pole. Roush is charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license-DUI related and careless driving.10:21 a.m. June 21 — Lindsay L. Ross, 31, of Butler allegedly used a credit card missing from a Stirling Drive home to make $353 in unauthorized purchases at several stores around Butler.Police charged Ross with identity theft, access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property.8:01 a.m. June 21 — Brandi N. Berry, 34, of Butler lost control of her car and struck a road sign on New Castle Road near Campus Lane. Police said she failed to remain at the scene after the wreck. Police cited Berry for driving with a suspended license, hit-and-run and careless driving.
